This policy explains what information TechSEO collects and how it is used.
Information you give us
- Website addresses and crawl results. When you start a crawl we store the address you entered and the results of the crawl so you can read and download them. Results are deleted automatically after a short retention period (7 days by default).
- Contact messages. If you use the contact form we receive your name, email address and message, and we use them only to reply to you.
Information collected automatically
- IP address. To prevent abuse we use your IP address to limit how many crawls and messages can be sent per hour. For crawls we keep only a one-way hash of the address, not the address itself. Our web host may also keep normal server logs.
- Browser storage. Your browser stores a private results link (a random code) so you can come back to your latest crawl. It is not used for tracking.
Websites you crawl
The crawler sends requests to the websites you ask it to check. Those websites will see our user agent in their logs. Please only crawl websites you own or have permission to test.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. We do not share crawl results with anyone. Results can be opened only by someone who has your private results link.
Your choices
You can ask us to delete your data at any time through the contact page.
Changes
We may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page.
